Movie Rush

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been making movies for the movie festival. My movie is about a prison break. In my group there is Shay, Warren, Zac and Mikaire (Me). I enjoy this because most of the mistakes that we make are funny, also making the movie is very fun. I found  that making the movies are hard because you can’t make up words or just play around when you want in the movie. I also don’t like movie making because it has to be perfect. I found that being in the movie is very hard to get the words right and the actions right. Have you ever made a movie before? Here’s my DLO

Writing Scripts

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been writing movie scripts. We are writing scripts because we are going to make a movie with the script. We are making movies for a film festival. My script is about criminals escaping prison. I am in a group of 4 Zac, Warren, Shay and Me. I enjoy this because it’s fun to make movies and we could make the movie about anything. I also don’t enjoy this because we have to write the script. Here's my writing

Creative Writing

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been planning a narrative story. In our stories we have to include a rocket because we are doing the wonder project and we will be launching a rocket for the wonder project. My narrative is about a zombie apocalypse. I like writing narratives because they challenged me. I found it hard to write the plan because I have never written a plan for a narrative before.

Magic Mosaic

Hi bloggers.

In Te Ngahere we have been doing Mosaic Art. Mosaic art is when you use small shapes or the polyline tool to make an animal or a person. My art is of a dog, and I guess that it’s going along well. I am struggling with making small shapes to cover the whole entire picture. I enjoyed doing this type of art as well because I got to choose what to do Mosaic art on.

Lately we have been learning how to read te reo maori.
For te reo my teacher read a book to us. Then we got given
cards to cut out. The cards had words on them that we had to learn.
  I enjoyed this because it's fun to learn how to pronounce the words.

Tik Tok Marathon

Last week in Te Ngahere for our assembly we did two tik tok dances. I liked this because it was fun and funny. One of the dances were savage love and the other one I got plans for me for me and you. My Favorite part was learning the dances because it  was the funniest part because everyone was doing it in funny ways. Here is a video of our dance. Courageous Angles

Lately in Te Ngahere we we have been learning about all the different types of angles. I have learnt around 6 new angles which are acute, obtuse, right, straight, full rotation and reflex. I did find angles hard at first because there was a lot to remember like all there names and their degrees. Here's a DLO that me and a few friends made enjoy.
