Explaining Explanation Writing

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been planning for an Explanation writing. Explanation writing is when you write to explain the topic you are learning about. We first had to write a plan about how forces cause bottle rockets to fly because we have been doing the Wonder Project lately. I find this enjoyable because we get to plan each paragraph and its easy. I also find this hard a bit because I had no clue what an Explanation sequence was or an Identifying statement.
